As many observe this very solemn day in history, the HLS Upper School choir performed “The Seven Last Words of Christ.” Led by Dr. Louie Bailey, the choir read biblical passages and meditations along with performing beautifully sung arrangements. To close the service, a bell chimed 33 times to signify the age of Jesus when he died.
