HLS Students Bring Cheer to The Forum

Earlier this month HLS received a phone call from The Forum at Brookside, a senior living facility which happens to be our neighbor at the Spring Meadows (Shelbyville Rd.) campus. These days the residents at The Forum are served their meals in brown paper bags, the dining rooms are closed due to Covid-19. The director of their food service thought it may bring cheer to the residents if the bags were decorated with colorful messages and pictures. Last week our 3rd-12th grade students decorated close to 200 bags for the residents of The Forum. We have some very clever and talented artists at HLS! Samples of their work can be seen below. Thank you students (and some teachers!) for this work of service.
