To honor the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we have a special lunch on Easter. Students are given a traditional Easter meal complete with baked ham, mashed potatoes, southern-style green beans, fruit and a special dessert. He is RISEN!
Everyone one loves good barbecue and this meal won’t disappoint. Students are served a hand-pulled bbq chicken sandwich with homemade creamy coleslaw, fruit and dessert.
Derby is such an important and festive time for the city of Louisville! Students get a chance to celebrate this historic event with a special Derby Lunch. They are served a traditional Kentucky Hot Brown alongside a delicious Derby inspired salad and a special dessert. This lunch will definitely keep them “running” all day long!
This hearty country meal is packed with nutrition and just makes you feel good! Students are served hot Great Northern beans with a side of cornbread, a vegetable, fruit and dessert.
The students love to make choices when it comes to lunch, and that’s exactly what Loaded Potatoes offers. Students can top their hot potatoes with cheddar cheese, chives, sour cream and bacon. This lunch is an absolute favorite at HLS!
Opening School is a joyous event at Highlands Latin School. Our students, in dress uniform, are led into the doors of the school by a drummer and bagpiper.
