Lunch

Here at Highlands Latin, we are very fortunate to have a talented chef, Cyndi Schmitt who manages our hot lunch program.  All of the food served is made from scratch and is healthy and delicious!!!

Please read this carefully before you complete the on-line lunch order forms. The links to order lunch are at the bottom of the page, and they will be available until August 12.

Lunch Options for Students:

  • Bringing Lunch-students have the option to bring their lunch each day.
  • Ordering Lunch All pre-paid lunches must be ordered at the beginning of the year. Lunch may be ordered for every day of the entire year at a discounted price, or you may order specific lunches for the entire year for $5 each.
  • Walk-up lunches are $5.50 each.
  • Milk Tickets-If your child brings lunch and would like to have milk, you may purchase milk tickets by filling out the form on our website and turning it in with payment on Meet the Teacher day or anytime throughout the school year.  Milk tickets are 10 for $5.00.

 

 Ordering Lunch for Specific Days

  • SUGGESTION: print the menu from the HLS website and circle lunches you wish to order. This ensures you have a copy in case there is a glitch in the on-line ordering. Note that the menu repeats throughout the year, so ordering is very simple. Simply click on the specific days you would like to order.
  • Kindergartenonly select lunches for Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Grades 1-2: only select lunches for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
  • The order form will calculate your total amount, list the lunches you have ordered, and send a confirmation email of the dates/meals you have chosen.
  • To order lunches for more than one student, you must click on the link again and fill out a form for each student. (If you purchase lunches for 3 students, you will receive 3 confirmation emails.)

 

 Ordering Lunch for Every Day

  • Click “Full Year” option on the link, and you will receive a confirmation email.
  • To order lunches for more than one student, you must click on the link again and fill out a form for each student. (If you purchase lunches for 3 students, you will receive 3 confirmation emails.)

 

Payment Process:

  • Invoices will be emailed at the beginning of September.
  • Lunch costs may be paid by check or through a Bill & Pay account.
  • Lunch costs are separate transactions from tuition.
  • After you receive your lunch invoice, email the office@hls.org if you would like to set up a 9 month payment plan or would like to pay online through Bill & Pay.
